I've always felt that taking photos is so important to tell our life story in a beautiful way. Growing up with immigrant parents and grandparents made me realize they left everything behind in another country to begin their lives here in the states. There aren't many photos of those that came before me. Photos are forever, especially in this new digital age. I think everyone deserves to have "those" photos that they look on and remember exactly what that moment felt like. I feel I owe it to my community to give them my best.

Siempre he sentido que la fotografia es muy importante para contar nuestra historia de vida de una manera hermosa. Crecer con padres y abuelos inmigrantes me hizo darme cuenta de que dejaron todo atrás en otro país para comenzar sus vidas aquí en Estados Unidos. No hay muchas fotos de los que vinieron antes que yo. Las fotos son para siempre, especialmente en esta nueva era digital. Creo que todos merecen tener esas fotos especiales las que miran y recuerdan exactamente cómo se sintió ese momento. Siento que le debo eso a mi comunidad, darles lo mejor de mí.
