Documenting your life is important.  I was born and raised in Colorado by immigrant parents with little to no documentation and photos of those that came before us, and it led me to be specifically drawn to documenting/photographing my community and culture. I love the feeling I get when people who have never been professionally photographed are left in awe with their images. Everyone deserves that feeling of seeing themselves in their best form.
 
Documentar tu vida es importante. Nací y crecí en Colorado, hija de padres inmigrantes con casi nada de documentación y fotografías de los que vinieron antes de mi. Esto me llevó a sentirme especialmente atraída por documentar/fotografiar a mi comunidad latina y cultura. Me encanta la emoción que siento cuando las personas que nunca han sido fotografiadas profesionalmente quedan emocionadas con sus imágenes. Todos merecen esa sensación de verse a sí mismos en su mejor forma.
